Kayla Herrera

Kayla Herrera is a debut author who has worked in social media marketing for Google, Pinterest, Adobe, Penguin Random House, and Scholastic, completed writing courses with Curtis Brown Creative and Jericho Writers, and graduated from the Columbia Publishing Course in NYC. She was also a two-time finalist in Voyage YA's opening chapter contest. Most recently, she was selected as a mentee by author Celeste Dador for WriteMentor's Summer Mentoring Programme. When not writing, she finds inspiration in evocative stories across books, films, and TV, with a particular interest in the strange and unusual.
